10 am departure from Milton Park travel to Robertson Truffles Farm
Truffle Hunt at Robertson Périgord Truffle farm established 15 years ago and is one of the first operating and producing farms in Australia. The truffle farm held the Australian record for the largest whole truffle to be harvested in 2014 – weighing in at a whopping 1.172kgs. Who knows, you may be lucky enough to witness another record-breaking truffle harvest. Owner Patrick Moroney will take us on a truffle hunt in his beautiful truffière – explaining how to grow truffles, how to find truffle and what to look for when buying a truffle.
